I can't believe we're about a week into November! It just seemed like I started my fall semester of senior year yesterday! It may be November but the weather here in Charlotte is still pretty warm which I really can't tell if I'm for it or not anymore... I mentioned a ton that I am NOT fan of cold weather, and I'm still not, but I think I'm just in the mood for a nice wardrobe change. I guess I just need to make the most out of this warm weather and enjoy it while it lasts!
One thing I have been really into lately is pattern mixing. There's something about the fall and winter time that gets me into a more experimental mood with my clothing pieces. A classic pattern pairing that I have been seeing year after year has to be plaid and stripes. It's like these two patterns are made for each other!
I paired a classic red plaid top under my infamous black and white stripped dress (if you follow me on Instagram then you know I wear this dress A TON). I love how the flannel underneath the dress gave a nice pop of color along with adding a little bit of warmth. This outfit was perfect for RJ and I's last adventure to the pumpkin patch on Halloween weekend.
What do you all think about pattern mixing? Let me know in the comments down below! I hope you all have a great week and as always, thank you for reading!
