Thank You, Meredith!

I won Meredith's giveaway on her blog and I received her package and oh my goodness! *T*H*A*N*K* * *Y*O*U*!*!*!* She sent the sweetest and most fun card, the shawl, some fun socks, Halloween cocktail napkins and these totally cute earrings!

And look how cute she wrapped everything!! :-)

I am going to love wearing this shawl, knowing my dear dear friend Meredith created it with her own hands, stitch by stitch. I'm so honored to be gifted this treasure.

I went through more of my mother's things so we could do more organizing and clearing - and I found this crocheted blanket. Many people would have just tossed this or put it in the thrift store donation pile - but I instantly remember my own mother crocheting this blanket herself. We washed and dried it and now it's a treasure of mine. Does anyone know the name of this pattern?

The most important part of this is that she only made 2 blankets that I know of, so this is a rare item.

I picked up a few new pillows for the front porch rockers. I found a neat old table on Facebook "Marketplace" for $20 - I'm meeting the seller after swimming today. Can't wait to show you.

My BFF Shirley volunteered at Multnomah Falls yesterday. Not much water coming over.. too long of a drought.

We met so many neat people yesterday and helped them plan their trip to see the most wonderful site possible.

I passed this flag on my way to swim on Wednesday, it's at a car dealership, so I made a mental note to snap a photo on my way home. I pulled into the median and snapped away with my iPhone X on x2 zoom and am so amazed at the quality of the image I got. :-)
