Japan 2013, Day 3: Kuromon Market, Osaka

15/11/2013

A short walk from Namba Station. It was drizzling a little and we found this place after asking for some directions from the locals. This place is called "Kuromon Ichiba Market" which translates to Black Gate Market.

Here is a good place for fresh produce and yummy breakki.

Locals going about their business early in the morning.

We tried some scallops and it was good. Dad went back for more lol

There were stores selling sea produce, veges, restaurants and mini marts.

My Unagi Don breakki :D

First Unagi meal for the trip. Pretty good though I would prefer more pickles. I love pickles!

Primary kids are often seen on field trips in Japan. Most of the time, to tourist attractions and sometimes, markets.

Aren't they cute with those yellow caps? They remind me of Chibi Maruko-Chan lol

Around noon, we went to den den town which located just around the corner from the market. It's a mini Akiba and my dad spent a half day, or rather the rest of the day shopping for figurines here. >.< My bro too and I got something for meself as well. It's a surprise coz I never spent for figurines before and didn't expect myself to. It was too cute and I couldn't help it >.<

I see these everywhere

Otaku heaven *ahem*

My haul~

Long kitty is looooong~
