Demi Lovato Turns "Really Don't Care" Into Gay Pride Anthem!

Demi Lovato has made quite a few revelations this past week. After playing the role of grand marshal at LA's Pride Parade in West Hollywood and revealing her own grandfather was indeed gay, the "Heart Attack" songstress has turned her sassy, attitude-filled "Really Don't Care", the latest single off her self-titled fourth studio album, into one big gay pride anthem with a colorful music video to go along.

Filmed on top of her amazing pride float, Lovato is shown singing the inspiring words of her song while expressing that her Jesus loves everyone. There are feather boas, drag queens, empowering signs and cameo appearances from the likes of Bridegroom's Shane Bitney Crone, Kat Graham, Travis Barker, Cher Llyod as she tackles the song's bridge, and unfortunately even the disgusting Perez Hilton. It seems the artist has had enough of the hate in the world and decided to speak up, while having one hell of a good time.

"Really Don't Care" is an upbeat production with some chanting thrown in for good measure. The song will surely become an anthem for all the downtrodden of the summer. The carefree vibe pairs well with the lyrics, telling a story of independence and strength. "Now if we meet out on the street, I won't be running scared, I'll walk right up to you, and put one fingers in the air," the artist sings. Did Miss Lovato just say she was throwing one finger in the air? She's becoming such a rebel.

Demi is proudly waving her rainbow flag in the air, as she looks absolutely fierce and gorgeous in her new music video. As an official single, Lovato has changed "Really Don't Care" from just an ordinary break up song into one with a more encompassing message just in time for pride events across the country. The video seems honest and sincere, not done to simply expand her audience. Bravo Demi!
