The movie is described as a thriller following the fictionalized last days of Poe's life. Some people have suspected that Poe was murdered by a person who was inspired by his horror stories. There are many theories as to how Poe died, but the only thing historians can agree on is that he was found face down in a gutter. He was 40 years old.
